I didn't have much time to do fun things for Valentines Day this year. Thanks to Pinterest, I found this cute download this morning from lilluna, and made a quick & easy Valentine for my mom.

Kids Hand-drawn Valentines

 

My oldest daughter wanted horse themed Valentine cards to give to her friends this year, and my 5 year old wanted pigs. Since I didn't have time to run them around to all the stores looking for specifically themed Valentines, I had them draw their own. They drew them last night. We scanned them in to the computer. Layed them out so that there were 2 on a 4" x 6" photo, and uploaded them to Walmart's photo center. An hour later, they were ready to pick up. We cut each one in half, and tonight my kids will be taping candies to the back.

Best of all, they were less expensive than the store bought Valentine cards, and my kids are proud to tell their friends that they designed these cards themselves.
