Spring City Utah

I took a much needed break from crazy deadlines and work today to take my daughter to Spring City, Utah. There wasn't much there, but it was pretty!

Girl with a pug illustration

I drew this picture for my daughter who loves her little toy pug whom she named "Chocolate Chippy." I'm going to have it printed at Office Max and frame it for her room. It also fit nicely with Illustration Friday's theme: Children.

Birthday Party

Yesterday was the perfect weather for an outdoor birthday party.

I drew ice cream cones from the front porch to the gate to our back yard.

I made pink sparkly over sized Ice Cream cone invites for all the little girls.

We had lots of ice cream and toppings.

The party favors were these ice cream cone hair clips, ice cream shaped bubbles, and taffy.

I made an ice cream cone banner for decoration. I wish I had more time to plan this party, but I think the girls all had a fun time.
